Period of Cultural Exchange Programme: 14 November to 18 November 2023

A total of 30 students from Secondary Three and Two enthusiastically participated in a 5-day, 4-night Hong Kong Cultural Immersion Programme held from November 14 to 18. Led by our Vice-Principal, Mrs. Patsy Ong, along with the accompaniment of five dedicated teachers, the journey encompassed diverse experiences ranging from the traditional stilt houses at Tai-O to the modern skyscrapers gracing the Victoria Harbour skyline. This immersive exposure provided students with a comprehensive 360-degree perspective of the various facets of Hong Kong, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation not only for the host city but also for their own home, Singapore.

Engaging in a spectrum of learning activities, our students had the invaluable opportunity to submerge themselves in the rich culture and heritage of Hong Kong. A highlight of the trip was the visit to Don Bosco Ng Siu Mui Secondary School, where a vibrant exchange programme unfolded. During a comprehensive school tour, our students actively engaged with their Hong Kong counterparts, sharing in various activities and creating lasting bonds. The overall immersion programme proved to be an exciting, intellectually stimulating, and culturally enriching experience for our students.
